(TopNews) The Frontline Socialist Party (FLSP) had a discussion with Sri Lanka Freedom Party(SLFP) in the former President and SLFP leader Mythipala Sirisena’s official residence yesterday(01).
The FLSP politburo member and education secretary Pubudu Jayagoda said this is a part of an open invitation forwarded by FLSP to discuss the present political and economic crisis.
He further said despite the fundamental and policy differences between the two parties, and there are some avenues that two parties have similar viewpoints, such as the proposed Kothalawala Defence University Bill.
The talks with JVP and TNA are to hold in due course, he said.
