Twenty-five military officers have been appointed as District Coordinating Officers for all administrative districts in the country, claiming that to strengthen the COVID-19 Pandemic control.
The appointments have been made by the Presidential Secretariat, and the Army Commander made recommendations.
Newly appointed officers responsible for controlling the virus’s spread, for quarantining and for providing the necessary transport facilities and other emergencies and needs. Further, the military officers have been entrusted with the responsibilities of coordinating the President’s Office, Presidential Task Force, Economic Revival and Poverty Eradication, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Disaster Management to manage other emergencies and needs.
