Leaders Should Resign Taking the Responsibility of Easter Sunday Attacks ! – Colombo Cardinal

The government leaders those who were made aware of the attacks and did nothing to prevent it, must resign taking responsibility, says the Malcom Cardinal Ranjith.
The Colombo Cardinal expressed this idea after holding a special ceremony at St.Lucia’s Cathedral  Church of Kotahena on 12 th for those killed and injured at St.Anthony church of Kochchikade. There was a large gathering including the friends and relatives of the victims of the Easter Sunday attack for this special praying ceremony and the Cardinal has further said that, ” It is clear that the devastation happened to those victims of Easter Sunday, not the preference of God but the sins of the human. Our brothers and sisters became to be the preys of sins of the human. Those who did this, can’t just wash their hands. They should be punished. The way to do that is, to oust them from their posts. These sort of people are Not suitable for bearing any leadership of this country. Some culprits are still stalking free. Some behave like Saints now. They think that they can stay with impunity for their sins. Even if they escape from the worldly punishment, they can’t be walk away from the God’s punishment.
Those who tried to achieve their political gains and selfish ideas, are to be punished by the God. The people who do not punish for the culprits who behave as if they did not do anything ,are to be punished by the God.
Now, it is reported that they are chasing behind me too. I am not afraid. My life belongs to you all and the God. Anytime i am ready to sacrifice my life”.
