Three persons were arrested by police at a central mail exchange on Thursday(02) with about 600 letters that have been written insulting to the President in connection with Easter bomb attack.
These letters have been prepared to be mailed to several temples throughout the country.
However, the three persons have been arrested according to the information received from a postal officer who opened a letter on suspicion. According to the police, the letter contains facts which aims to develop tensions between nations and anti-government matters.
It is reported that two members of the staff of the Minister of Public Enterprise and Development which belongs to Lakshman Kiriella and a person from the staff of Ministry of Highways had been arrested as such.
