Rs 1000 Daily basic for Plantation Workers –  Trade Unions and Mass Organisations Demand!



Trade unions and civil organisations have come together in supporting the struggle initiated by the plantation workers to increase the minimum daily wage of up to 1000 rupees.

The estate workers earn a small salary of Rs. 530 a day, while they are facing huge issues for the day to day survival, The MPs and trade unions trying to establish their power using their issues.

A press briefing was held yesterday (1) at the CMU hall to explain the steps taken to increase plantation worker salaries.
