The one of the main distinct case of the UNP cabinet which swan on 20th morning is, Sarath Fonseka was thrown away from the cabinet.
Several days ago, the President had directly boasted that Sarath Fonseka would not get a ministerial post. Ravi Karunanayake who was accused in connection wirh the CB Bond fraud, was supposed for the Financial minister but eventually, he was given Power & Energy.
Meanwhile, Malik and Mano Ganeshan who had reportedly informed that they would not take the ministerial post, finally taken over their previous ministerial posts.
The other main distinct case was, the journalist were not allowed to come to the occasion of the taking oath ceremony of the ministers. But ironically, Maithree-Ranil yahapalana government earlier enjoyed boasting about their policy of securing the right to know.
However, it is clearly revealed that what type of “People’s Right to Know” they are apparently going to protect by not allowing to the journalist to come in to report the ministers taking oath ceremony.
