The President Retains the Power to Dissolve Parliament – 19th Amendment in Vain!

Although various forces and individuals have issued statements that the President had reduced the power of the executive presidency by adding the 19th amendment to the constitution, the executive branch has been informed that the president still has the power to summon or dissolve the parliament or adjournment.

Though some parties have boasted about cutting the wings of the President, the decisive power of the President has not been abolished by the 19th amendment. The legal experts close to president have pointed out that in this situation it is possible for the parliament to dissolve as quickly as he wants. However the other legal experts protest that the dissolution is sheer violation of constitutional norms.
