The independent police commission which was stablished by the 19th constitutional amendments, has finally become a resthome, says the Higher Education Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksha.
He expressed this ideas in the opening ceremony of Walasmulla divisional secretary building on yesterday.
In his speech of this opening ceremony, he has further said that the sole purpose of the establishing of the police commission has been completely deflected by sheltering to the retired officers in this commission. Therefore he hinted that under the new amendments, the government would have a plan to re-form the police commission.
