Russia Do Tit for Tat, Expel UK diplomats Over Poison Case !

Russia has decided to expel British diplomats  apparently a tit for tat decision as a response the expulsion of 23 staff from Moscow’s mission to London.

Yesterday(15) UK authorities deported 24 Russian diplomatic officers charging to be connected with the poisoning of a former Russian spy and his daughter on U.K. territory, the Russian foreign minister was quoted as saying. British Prime Minister Theresa May and key foreign allies have blamed Russia for the poison attack on Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in the English town of Salisbury. They are in critical condition in hospital. UK announced a number of steps following the death of a spy by poisoning allegedly with Russian involvement.  The measures include the expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats, the single biggest expulsion in over 30 years. UK PM Theresa May said the UK would also not send an official government representative to the soccer World Cup in Russia this year.  The penalties mark the most serious deterioration in UK-Russia relations in recent years.

Theresa May said the diplomats, who have a week to leave, were identified as “undeclared intelligence officers”. The expulsions will happen “soon,” according to a report by RIA news agency quoting Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. It was not clear how many U.K. diplomats would be involved.

Russia denies being involved in the attempted murder of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia. Moskow authorities refused to meet May’s midnight deadline to co-operate in the case.
