The relatives of disappearances in Vavuniya, who are on a hunger strike demanding the justice for their missing children, have refused to vote for the local government polls.

They demand that authorities must pay immediate attention to this problem since the justice has now been delayed for more than 8 years.

They had told the reporters that they would not use their votes at the Local Government election as none of the parties have paid their attention to the protest so far which marked it’s 352nd day on the 10th February.
