Leaders Might Cross Over, Not the General Public – Mahinda Rajapaksha

It was unavoidable to stop the political party members crossing over, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has reportedly said addressing the media .

He has also said that many of the members who are in favour of present government, would be standing against the Government. Former President said that several members were leaving their party since they were unable to get what they had expected. He has forecasted that it is crystal clear that a huge gap had now been created between the anti-Government and pro-Government political parties.

Meanwhile, expressing opinion with regard to crossing over of his followers to government side, he said that the leaders may leave but not the people.
